Bucharest / 13.03.2017: TAROM presents you the entertainment platform TAROM AirFi.

Monday, March 13th 2017, TAROM launches the entertainment platform “TAROM AirFi”. 

AirFi is an entertainment platform, Wireless accessible, using own mobile devices (smart phone, tablets, laptops) and contains a wide range of media options, both for adults and for children, such as: information about TAROM, news, press articles, movies, music, games, chat with other passengers, etc. At the same time, the passengers have the possibility to express their opinions concerning the services provided by filling in the feedback form.

In order to access AirFi platform, the passengers must have their equipment set on airplane mode and connect to Wi-Fi with any browser.

The content presented both in Romanian and English language is updated at each staging post with information related to the route, flight time and weather conditions from the destination.

The service is accessible starting with March 14th 2017, on all internal and external flights, operated with Airbus 318 and Boeing 737-700 aircraft. Practically, this system will be functional on eight planes from TAROM fleet, in external and internal flights. In the present, there are several companies in Europe which make available this service.

Mr. Razvan Alexandru Cuc, the Minister of Transports, Mr. Eugen Davidoiu, Managing Director of CNTAR TAROM S.A., representatives of AirFi Romania, representatives of DNATA Romania, etc. will be present at the launch event.

TAROM invites you to enjoy the pleasant experience of its flights, taking pleasure in the benefits provided by AirFi service, available free of charge on board of its aircraft.
