Starting August 26, 2020, the Belgian authorities have classified the entire territory of Romania as “red zone” for COVID 19. All persons arriving in the Kingdom of Belgium from any region of Romania must enter self-isolation and perform a molecular PCR test to detect COVID -19 infection. The test will be made by the Belgian authorities at the entry into the country. Passengers are asked to contact the attending physician or a family physician, who will ensure the testing.
According to the information provided by the Belgian authorities, the order of self-isolation and testing for COVID-19 falls within the competence of the regional authorities. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminds that, starting August 1st , 2020, all persons entering the Kingdom of Belgium are required to fill in the Passenger Locator Form with 48 hours before entering the territory of this country, form which can be accessed online at https://travel.info-coronavirus.be/fr/public-health-passenger-locator-form.
