Step 1
Select:
- Departure (From)/ destination (To) cities. When using the option ‘Multiple destinations’, select all departure and arrival cities in the order of travel. The application does not allow you to book flights for more than eight cities (departure and arrival).
- Type of travel: one-way, round trip or multiple destinations.
- Date of return, in case of a round trip.
- Number and type of passengers (the passenger).
- Class of service: Economic or Business
- Type of flight: direct or connecting flight; if you are not sure, please check the ‘Connection’ option.
- To get the availability of the flights press the Search button.
Step 2
Select the flight (flights) and the type of fee that you want: unrestricted or the lowest fee available.
The lowest fee available is usually submitted to certain restrictions, such as:
- a required maximum/minimum duration of travel
- if you request the cancellation of the ticket, the cancellation shall take place according to the pricing conditions accepted at the time of booking
- pay a tax if you would like to cancel or change your ticket etc.
Step 3
The flight selection page shows you:
- the selected flight
- the available flights
- the lowest fees for each day
- the conditions of each fee
- the total price of the ticket.
Step 4
Please fill in with your personal information (the fields marked with ,,!” are mandatory).
- Select the title Mrs./Mr.
- Fill in the appropriate fields with your surname and first name.
- Enter the Flying Blue reference if you are a Frequent Flyer member.
- Enter your contact details (e-mail and telephone number). It is required to enter the contact details correctly, as we use them to send you the confirmation of your booking, the electronic ticket and any potential flight schedule changes.
Step 5
The “Additional Services“ page allows you to choose and add the following services, subject to a fee:
- pet (dog or cat, according to the conditions for the acceptance of pets in the cabin, laid down by TAROM)
- you can add additional checked-in bags
- you can add sports equipment (golf, ski, fishing)
- you can choose your seat on the plane. According to the pricing conditions, their pre-allocation can be free of charge or subject to a fee.
- TAROM reserves the right to change the assigned seat, even after boarding the plane, for operational, safety or security reasons related to the flight.
Step 6
The “Payment” page shows the details of the trip, the travel conditions, the pricing conditions and the cost of the ticket.
- At the time of payment, you will receive the booking confirmation, the electronic ticket and in case of purchasing any other services, the documents related to the latter by e-mail.
- Choose a payment method. If you would like to pay by card, please select “Pay now”. If you select “Pay later”, we will guarantee that fee for 48 hours and you will be able to pay online from “My booking”, via the payment link provided by the Call Centre or through any other payment methods.
- Check the mandatory box next to the text “Yes, I have read and agreed to the Travel Terms and Conditions and to the Purchase Conditions .* ” and open the links to see the conditions of the selected fee, as well as the travel terms and conditions.
- Press the button “Safe payment” to confirm the booking and buy the ticket.
Step 7
In the Your trip reservation page, you can see your TAROM reservation number (please write down this number or print the page that contains it as you will need it later), the traveller details (you can change these details by clicking the modify button).
- You can review the itinerary, the price, the selected method of payment and method of delivery. You will also receive a confirmation e-mail.
- If you want to cancel your trip or to change your trip details please contact the TAROM office located in the city of your flight departure.
- Please note that the maximum duration for a reservation session is of 10 minutes, counted from the moment the ‘Search’ button was clicked on. If you could not complete the reservation by that time, the bookings engine will show a written warning on an yellow background. At that point the customer will have to start the booking process all over again by going to www.tarom.ro.
