Notes:
- Combining the charges for excess baggage in number and/or overweight and/or oversized:
If more excess charges are applicable for a piece of baggage, they will be collected. - Standard Piece Weight / Fractions:
When determining the standard piece weight, the fractions within 23 and 24 kg shall be disregarded; a piece of 24kg and above shall be considered an overweight piece. - Combining the Weight of Pieces:
The weight of checked-in pieces of baggage cannot be added together; each piece is considered as such and charged according to the Table presented above. - Combining the Number of Pieces:
Where two or more passengers, traveling as one family or as one party to a common destination and departing on the same flight, present themselves for traveling at the same time and place, they shall be permitted a total free baggage allowance equal to the combination of their individual free baggage allowances. - Sports equipment up to 23kg(50.5lb) and dimensions up to 158cm(62in) (e.g.hochey, tennis, darts, etc.), are treated as a standard piece. If the free bagagge allowance in the ticket is exceeded, they shall be charged according with Table presented above. Sports equipmemt which does not fall within this category shall be charged in accordance with the fees presented in the Special Baggage section.
These regulations apply only for flights operated by TAROM on its own aircrafts. For code-share flights operated by the TAROM partners other regulations imposed by the flight operator may apply.

If TAROM shares parts of the route on the ticket with other transporters, the rules and fees for extra baggage of the first operator on the route (TAROM) for the sector/sectors on which the baggage is checked-in shall apply; please be aware that you might be charged for extra baggage by the other transporters on the route.
Note that in certain countries that do not belong to the EURO zone, the passengers might pay for extra baggage the amounts given in the table, in the local currency of that country.
