Taking into account the safety and quality of its services, TAROM Company has prepared its staff both in its own professional training centre and though courses and conferences set up by other organizations.
The Training Centre
The Training Centre was set up in 1999, having as main activity the recurrent and type training of its own flying crew. Subsequently, the training activity extended to other categories of staff: ground-based operational staff and technical staff.
In 2002, TAROM Training Centre has become a ‘Training Organization for the Technical Maintenance Staff’, authorized by JAR-147, the provision of training services per aircraft type extending also to the technical staff outside TAROM. In 2005, this activity has been authorized by EASA PART-147 and its portfolio includes courses for all types of aircrafts within TAROM fleet, according to ATA 104 level I and ATA 104 level III.
In 2009, TAROM Training Centre was authorized by TRTO for a variety of courses.
The training team is made up of specialists with a rich experience in the training fields, with international specializations authorized by the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority.
The Centre has modern logistics and training locations, equipped according to the international standards.
